After all, we're just a carmaker, and carmakers don't usually have company. As more visitors began arriving, we realized that it was time we extended a proper welcome. And so the plant tours began.

The Saturn Welcome Center opened in the spring of 1997. Not surprisingly, it's unique — built in an old barn that was once part of the Haynes Haven Stock Farm. Since the barn has a lot of history behind it, we just couldn't imagine changing it too much. That's why we kept it pretty much as is, and arranged our displays in the individual stalls.

There's plenty of interactive and hands-on exhibits where you can listen to the history of Saturn's founding, read letters from Saturn owners and learn how we design our cars. In other words, find out what it feels like to to work for Saturn.
